Mona Lisa

Leonardo De Vinci had a huge impact on the art created during the Italian Renaissance. This painting is the Mona Lisa where he used shading to create a realistic painting of a woman. This woman is believed to be Madam Lisa Giocondo who was the wife of a wealthy Florentine. This painting was painted sometime between 1503-1519. Leonardo was able to make the background look blurred which make the woman stand out even more.

Leonardo used shading, and blurring to make this painting look natural. He was able to blur the background behind the woman depicted in his painting so that she would stand out in his painting. He was also able to use shading to make her look just like she did in real life.

I would have this painting in my house because I think it is really unique and have always loved this painting. This is one of the most talked about and well known paintings and it has been used in a lot of movies. I would love to be able to go to the Louvre Museum in Paris and be able to see this painting in person one day.
